§147-33.72F. Procurement procedures; cost savings

Pursuant to Part 4 of this Article, the Office of Information Technology Services shall establish procedures for the procurement of information technology. The procedures may include aggregation of hardware purchases, the use of formal bid procedures, restrictions on supplemental staffing, enterprise software licensing, hosting, and multiyear maintenance agreements. The procedures may require agencies to submit information technology procurement requests to the Office of Information Technology Services on October 1, January 1, and June 1 of each fiscal year in order to allow for bulk purchasing.
