§143B-131.9. Roanoke Island Festival Park staff

The Commission shall serve as a search committee to seek out, interview, and recommend to the Secretary of the Department of Cultural Resources an Executive Director of Roanoke Island Festival Park. All employees of the Commission shall be transferred to the Department of Cultural Resources and shall be paid from the Historic Roanoke Island Fund as provided in G.S. 143B-131.8A. Except as otherwise provided in this section, or G.S. 126-5, all employees who are transferred from the Commission to the Department of Cultural Resources shall retain the same designations under the North Carolina Human Resources Act, Chapter 126 of the General Statutes, as they had prior to the transfer.
